Shaving Pointers For Men

Shaving is the removal of unwanted hair, by the means of a blade, however the hair does not get entirely removed, but a part of the hair does get removed and comes down to the level of the skin, and it can barely be seen , it gives the skin a smooth appearance. Men generally remove the hair of their face, mainly for hygienic reasons, however they also shave because they like a particular look, and some like to maintain some facial hair as a matter of style and fashion, this is done by maintaining different kinds of beards and moustaches, for example, Chin Curtain, Chin Puff, Ducktail,Federation Standard, French Fork, Friendly Mutton Chops, Goatee, Handlebar to name a few. Men generally have a beard to keep an alternative image. A beard is always associated to wisdom, strength, masculinity, virility, sexuality, as in the ancient days men seldom walked around with out any beards, outdoors men had beards. However with time, and changing trends, the nature of jobs that men hold, lifestyles becoming more sophisticated men prefer to be clean shaven and hence they shave their facial hair for a look much unlike, the regular warrior look, as comfort is one major issue that is tackled with a clean shaven face.

There are different kinds of razors available in the market as well as there are different techniques to shaving, Shaving is a part of the daily routine for men if they have heavy hair growth on their faces and me generally want a smooth touch on their faces a smooth shave is what they want to achieve. There are two different techniques to shaving, there is a wet shave and then there is dry shave. The difference is, that water is used for wet shave where as for a dry shave only foam is used without the addition of water. Wet shaving is carried out by first by making the face moist, and then the rinsing of the razor while in the process of shaving, a double edged razor is used , and then even a toner is used. The face when made moist is ideal for shaving, after a bath, especially after a warm water bath, when the skin has been loosened and the pores have been opened, the skin becomes soft, a substantial amount of shaving soap should be applied on the face. after the shave is over the face should be rinsed with warm water, and then it should be toned with an applicant toner or cold water which has a toning effect on the skin after a warm water shave. A dry shave is not a good idea. although some people do it when they are in a hurry, it leaves cuts , razor burns and skin infections. However shaving has to be done carefully, if one has to leave a good look on his face.
