Exfoliator: Mix 15-20 crushed sesame seeds, 2 tbsp honey and a few dried mint leaves.
Massage Oil: 50 ml olive or sesame oil mixed with 8-10 drops of essential oil. Choose according to your mood: Lavender relaxes, Jasmine makes you happy, Rose calms and cinnamon relieves fatigue.
Body Polish Mask: Mix the pulp of a small papaya and a cucumber with one part honey, four parts oatmeal, two parts yoghurt and one part orange juice.
Body Lotion: Mix 6 tbsp rose water, 4 tbsp orange juice and 1 tsp pure glycerin.
Cloth Bundle: Make a bundle of slightly wet, clean cloth filled with besan, oatmeal, dry and ground mint leaves, rose petals, almond meal and a pinch of turmeric powder. You will also need a small and a large towel.
How To Do It: Start with exfoliation. Mix the scrub and apply it on your body. After 10 to 15 minutes, massage your skin gently and then wash it. Prepare the bathtub with hot water and add a few drops of essential oil. Soak in the bathtub while rubbing the cloth bundle on your body. Lie and relax. After coming out, massage your body with the massage oil. Use medium pressure in long up and down stroking movements, following the muscles of the arms and legs. Remember, all massage sequences should end with upward strokes towards the heart. Rest for a few minutes and then apply the body polish mask. Lie on a mat and just allow your body to sweat and absorb the mixture full of vitamins and enzymes. Then rub gently all over and wipe off with a soft moist towel. After washing the mask off, apply the body lotion and then wipe off with a moist towel after 15 minutes.
2.Papaya Body Scrub:
This body scrub is easy to do at home and leaves your skin clean and rejuvenated. You can do it once a fortnight, but avoid for at least two days after a wax or razor session.
Things You Need: 1 small ripe papaya; 50g grain powder; 50g rice powder; 50g sea salt; 50 ml honey; 100 ml milk or curd.
How To Do It: Mash the papaya in a grinder and mix with all the other ingredients except for the milk or curd. Blend well with hand. Now steam your body all over with a portable home steamer or simply have a hot water bath. Apply the mixture all over your body, covering each and every part from face to toe. Then lie down on a plastic sheet for 20 minutes.
Next, take the milk or curd and apply carefully on each body part, scrubbing the area gently in circular movements. You can also use a soft loofah for scrubbing your skin. When finished take another warm, thorough shower. Wipe off the excess moisture and apply body lotion all over when your skin is still a little wet. Enjoy clean and smooth skin.
