 Spa Party DIY Crafts: You may involve the children in making spa crafts or spa party favors.
i. Mild Body Powder:
5-10 drops of lavender; 2-3 drops cornstarch;
When mixing a fine powder like cornstarch with oil, it can be very messy proposition. The best method for accomplishing this is to mix the components in a plastic sandwich bag, work out the clumps, and you'll end up with a smooth, scented powder.
ii. Lavender Body Oil:
5-10 drops lavender; 2-3 tbsp olive oil; 2-3 tbsp cornstarch. Mix and apply all over body before taking spa baths.
iii. Lemonade Hand Wash:
Composition: 1 tbsp / 15 ml granulated sugar; fresh lemon juice to make a paste;
Preparation: Pour about 1 tbsp of granulated sugar in the palm of your hand. Squeeze enough juice from a fresh lemon wedge to make a paste.
Application:
Rub your hands together in a rotary motion, either clockwise or anti-clockwise. At first, the sensation will be one of a gritty surface. Continue rubbing. The heat of your hands will melt the sugar to become a candy glaze. Work this glaze up and over each finger and over the back of each hand. Leave the glaze on your hands for 5 minutes. Rinse with warm water. Pat your hands totally dry with a soft paper towel.
iv. Gentle Aloe-vera Face-wash: Take fresh 20 g of aloe-vera gel and fresh cucumber juice. Mix them well. Apply on the face gently. Rinse off.
v. Olive Oil Lavender Foot Massage:
Ingredients: 2 tsp / 10 ml extra-vrigin olive oil; 2 drops lavender essential oil.
Mix all ingredients thoroughly in a small bowl. Massage onto feet and put on socks afterwards.
 vi. Oatmeal And Yogurt Face Mask:
Ingredients: 1 cup natural yogurt; 1/2 cup oatmeal;
Blend the yogurt and oatmeal together. Mix well and apply to the skin for 10 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.
vii. Funky Flip Flops: Let the children choose the flip-flops they want, and start decorating it with feathers, glitter, gems, fancy beads, sparkles, and flip-flop glue. This takes 10 hours to completely dry and be ready, so this craft maybe done at the beginning of the party as the first craft which the girls may take home as party favors.
viii. Spa Party Album: You can make use loose craft paper sheets of different color to make your own spa albums, where you can have your spa photographs pasted along with remarks.
Materials Required: 20-25 craft A4 size paper sheets; a punching machine; two cardboards cut in the size of paper, leaving extra 1/2 inch on all borders; glue; Silk flowers, appliques, beads, ribbons, lace (optional); strong ribbon or string to keep the album tied securely; pencil; white chart paper for covering the cardboards.
 Arrange the sheets and punch four holes for tying together. Take the cardboard that will be placed on top and cover it with the white chart papers, add glue to keep intact. After drying, nicely decorate it with Silk flowers, appliques, beads, ribbons, lace as you wish, and write your name, occasion, date on it. Cover the other cardboard in a similar manner. Place a paper sheet above the covers and mark with pencil the holes. Punch similar holes on both the cardboards. Now arrange all the paper and the cardboard covers together and thread them together, and tie them securely. Do not forget to take ample photographs of your spa party.
