Different Types Of Facial Shapes And Makeup:

1. Oval Face: This face shape is considered the most balanced face shape. The sides of your face are flat, your forehead is wide and high, and you have a square chin, then you know that you have an oval face. Blush can be applied to the apples of your cheeks to give it a rounder effect. A cream concealer can be used and apply with a sponge, making sure to cover the area from under the eyes to the cheekbones. concealer disguises blemishes and using a bit in the centre of the forehead is a good idea. Apply two shades of foundation on this face will balance the imperfections. First, apply a darker shade of foundation, followed by a lighter shade. Apply the darker shade on the temples. Shade the face with both light and dark foundation. Apply light foundation in the middle portion of the face for that balanced look. Apply translucent powder on the lighter foundation parts like the eyes, cheekbones, nose and forehead.
2. Round Face: Your cheeks are full, your face is a symmetrical and uniform size, with no jutting or angular features. It is a chubby face. Applying blush under the cheek bones will give your face a narrowing effect. You can also apply a light foundation shade over the centre of your nose to narrow. As this face does not have any dominant features, you have to accentuate features to highlight the parts to make it elongated. Concentrate on the areas from the lower lip to the chin downwards and from the eyebrows to the hairline. Emphasis on the full cheeks and temples to minimize their fullness. First of all, a concealer should be used to remove any blemishes or discolourations of the skin. Blend with a sponge under the eyes, the sides of the nose and out to the upper cheeks. After you have re-shaped your face, apply powder and blusher. Apply blusher by using your nose as a guide.
