Choose The Look That Suits You

Look 5: Oriental Coloring, Dark Hair:

Your black hair and pale – but yellow-toned skin are best complemented by soft, warm colours. These will define your looks and counteract any sallowness in your complexion.
This Look Suits You If You Have Oriental Coloring, Dark Hair:
You have very dark brown to blue-black hair. It also works if you have grey flecks in your hair. Your eyes are hazel or brown. You have a pale to medium skin tone. It does tan, although it has a tendency to look quite yellow.

  1. After applying foundation, concealer and powder, sweep some lilac eye shadow over your eyelid. This pale colour is a better option than using darker eye shadows near the eyes, which have a tendency to make them look deep-set, particularly as your eyelids tend to be quite small.
  2. Lightly fill in your eyebrows with a dark brown eye shadow or eyebrow pencil to provide a strong frame to your eyes. This will help balance the eyeliner, which is going to be applied next.
  3. A lick of black-blue eyeliner will emphasize your beautifully shaped eyes, and help correct any droopiness. Slick it under the lower lashes and into the outer corners of your eyes to create balance. To prevent the overall look from seeming too harsh, use a cotton bud to soften the eyeliner slightly.
  4. Place your eyelashes between the pads of a curler, and gently squeeze for a few seconds. Then apply two coats of black mascara.
  5. A warm pink blusher gives a wonderful boost to your complexion, and brings out its natural glow. Dust it over the plumpest part of your cheeks.
  6. A baby pink lip liner and lipstick bring your lips fashionably into focus. The cool blue tone to this shade works very well on your colouring.
