Master Make – Up Moves

3.Nude Look III (The 60’s Look):
Let your eyes make a statement.
A. The trick is to use your eyeliner really well. Take to a liquid eyeliner or opt for a kohl pencil if your hand is unsteady. Begin from the inner corner of the eyes and extend outwards approximately 1 to 1.5 mm away from the eye in an upward sweep. You can make this thick or thin depending on the shape of your eyes. Bigger eyes, thinner sweep and vice versa. In terms of hair , back comb, though not necessarily too high.
Brands Recommended: Bourjois and Lancome’s kohl pencils are great for the non-artist with flair.

B. Use a darker lip colour for the evening. Glam it up by making lips creamy rather than glossy.
Brand Recommended: Chanel has a great burnt red in their new collection that is both creamy and moist.
C. For the day, with the same eyes you can team a neutral, flesh or light pink lip color with a spot of gloss to change the look dramatically.
Brand Recommended: Shiseido and L’Oreal for eye shadows.
D. Bring in shimmer powders for a night out. Apply uniformly across your bare back, arms and eyes.
Brand Recommended: MaxFactor for liquid shimmer, MAC powders.
E. Cream blush lends your cheeks a warm, kissable flush. Apply softly on the apples of your cheeks with a plump brush.
Brand Recommended: L’Oreal.

Tips:
1. Use your eyeliner well, either in black or the many colors you get in the market.
2. For lips, go by the thumb rule: Gloss for day and cream or velvety finish for the night.
3. Keep the hair simple with a hint of the 60’s. More chic and modern. Use a wide headband with your hair pulled back into a pony or bun for that dramatic look.
