15 Minute Exercise Routine

Tips:

  1. A good way to firm up your stomach muscles is to lie on your back with your knees raised but your feet on the ground. Keep arms by your side or behind your head and raise your shoulder blades off the ground.
  2. Many people make the mistake of lifting all the way up when they do sit-ups. This is not the most effective way to exercise and can lead to back strain, especially in the lower back.
  3. Any exercise that involved bending and stretching the legs will be good for toning the thigh and buttock muscles.
  4. Now remember that the warm weather does encourage people to get exercising but over doing it will not help, in fact harm you as you can end up with muscles pains or joint injuries. One should remember that when you are 50, you can injure yourself more than when you are 20.
  5. Exercise is beneficial for older people and for people of all ages. It is proved that people who are over 40 and exercise are less likely to suffer from factors such as depression, diabetes, weight gain, sleep disturbances and high blood pressure.
  6. Doctors suggest that as people get older, they should take extra steps to protect themselves from injuries when exercising.
