Not that they don’t exist now. There are more modern versions of them such as a chest strap transmitter and wrist receiver and also a mobile phone which you can double as a watch.
d. Calorie Calculators: This calculator keeps tracks of an estimated amount of how many calories or kilojoules are required for both men and women. There are several calculators for different uses such as the nutrient calculator which breaks down calories to carbohydrates, protein and fat. Use the bulking calculator to gain weight / muscle. Use the pregnancy calculator to see if you have gained the appropriate weight during pregnancy and how much calories you need for a healthy baby.
