Yoga Postures To Fight Body Fat

These fabulous yoga postures will get you into perfect shape! Artistic and sculpting, these postures work on each part of your body, melting your flab, energizing you and making you fitter than ever before!

Bakasana:
1. Stand straight.
2. Bend forward from the waist resting your hands on the ground under your shoulders and look down.
3. Raise one leg off the floor as high as you can, while raising the heel of the other leg.
4. Repeat on the other side.
Benefits: Apart from toning your arms and shoulders, this helps to improve your complexion too. As this posture is a inverted posture, there is a rich supply of blood to your face giving you that glow.

Ek Hastha Santolasana:
1. Lie down on your stomach.
2. Raise your body into the push up position and then place one hand behind your back, resting your body on one hand only.
3. Repeat with the other arm.
Benefits: Strengthens the arms, upper body and the back. Improves balance, concentration and will power.

Swastik Padang Ustrasana (Vyagrasana):
1. Go down on your hands and knees, looking straight ahead.
2. Slowly raise one leg above the ground and fold the knee upwards.
3. Repeat with the other leg.
4. Do 15 repetitions on each side.
Benefits: Toners hip and thigh muscles. Strengthens the back muscles.

Hastha Moordhasana (Parvatasana):
1. Stand with your feet wide apart, bend forward from the waist till your hands touch the ground.
2. Hold your abdomen parallel to the ground.
3. Keep your back straight and look ahead.
Benefits: Helps to remove fat from the hips and thighs. Strengthens the arm muscles.

Poorna Naukasana:
1. Lie flat on your back, hands on the thighs and inhale.
2. Exhale and raise your legs and your upper body 45 degrees above the ground.
3. Stretch your arms straight out towards your toes making a ‘boat shape’.
Benefits: Takes excess fat off your abdomen. Strengthen the back and thigh muscles.
