Spa party favors for kids can range from anything from decorated Flip flops to a nail polish or spa robe or maybe spa kits or spa food crockery sets. Here is a list of items that maybe given away as spa party favors:
- Hair accessories, tiara, hair beads, clutches and clips and ribbons.
- Makeup accessories such as nail polish, glitters, body glitters, lipstick, powder sets, lip glosses, makeup mirrors. stick on earrings.
- Vanity cases or cosmetics cases.
- Fancy necklaces and bead bracelets.
- Sets of bowls, saucers, tumblers, fork, knife, spoons specially meant for children.
- Bath and Body accessories like milk bath lotions, bubble baths, soaps, gentle scrubs, perfumes.
- Spa kits having bath salts and face masks and foot creams.
- Sunglasses, bath robes, personalised flip flops, hair bands, personalised spa towels.
- Ready-made items like spa mats, spa personalised magnets, stickers, and buttons can also be given. You may club one from each group and nicely place in a bag and tie with a ribbon and give each child.
DIY Spa Party Favors:
i. Beaded Necklaces:
Materials Needed: colored beads or colored crystal beads of your choice; Clear nylon thread, double the size of your desired necklace size;
Start by threading the first bead. Then run the nylon thread back through the first bead and gently pull it taut; this will act as a stopper for the rest of the beads. Continue stringing the beads till you have the desired length of your necklace. Make sure that the length is long enough to easily pass over your head. When you have finished stringing the last bead, again run the thread through the last bead to make it tight and secure. Tie the ends together firmly with an embroidery floss of white color. Tie the ends tightly.
ii. Floral Hairband Craft:
Materials Required: Felt paper; any fabric or ribbons; Glue; safety scissors; a hairband of your choice; marker;
Choose the flower material, maybe fabric or wide ribbon. Draw flower on the fabric and cut out the flower. You may stick a different colored material in the centre of the flower. After the flower dries up, you may add a drop of glue to it and stick it on the hair band. Leave to dry.
Variation: If you have an adult helping you you may use a needle and thread and sew the flower on the hair band. Then stick a piece of felt paper to hide the stitches.
iii. CD Case Photo Frame:
Material Required: A CD case; glue; paper; safety scissors; spa stickers; sketch pens; ruler;
Take the CD case and discard the plastic inside which holds the actual CD. Open the CD and measure with a ruler the left and right hand side CD case. Cut the paper and stick on the inside left and right hand side of the CD case. You can demarcate a space where you can stick your favourite spa photo and glue on spa stickers and write something special inside.
